In 2007, 247TailorSteel started with two 5 kW laser machines from TRUMPF. We now have more than 83 laser cutting machines, 52 press brakes, 15 deburring machines, and 3 tapping tables spread across six locations, which we use to process more than 70,000 parts every day.

TruLaser Flatbed laser

Flatbed lasers

Thé flatbed laser in our machine park is the TRUMPF TruLaser 5030. With varying powers of 6 kW, 8 kW, and 10 kW, we can laser cut both thin and thick sheets. These machines guarantee high cutting accuracy, consistent quality, and optimal production speed for sheet metal in both piece production and series production.

Tube lasers

The Adige BLM (LT7 and LT8) tube lasers combine precise cutting with automatic loading, enabling complex tube and profile operations, such as tube laser cutting and blind rivet nut insertion, to be carried out efficiently and reproducibly. This range is complemented by the TRUMPF TruLaser Tube 7000 Fiber for fluid drilling.

LVD Press brake

Press brakes

We use LVD press brakes for bending metal. With ToolCell machines, we fully automate the bending process, ensuring short changeover times, consistent bending quality, and reliable throughput. We use EasyForm press brakes for single pieces and small series with a lot of variation, where flexibility, quick changeovers, and direct correction of the bending process are crucial.

Deburring machines

We use specialized deburring machines for each type of material to deburr sheet metal parts. The Timesavers 42-SERIES-1350-WRB is used for edge breaking aluminum and stainless steel, while the Lissmac SBM-L 1500 G1S2 is designed for the edge breaking of steel. We use the Timesavers 42-SERIES-1525-WTBRB for edge rounding of steel sheet metal parts. Together, these machines ensure a uniform finish of sheet metal parts, which increases safety, quality and assembly readiness.

Tapping table

Tapping tables

For tapping threads, we use tapping tables that can accurately tap threads from M3 to M24. These machines ensure a controlled and straight tapping process for different materials and thicknesses. This increases the reliability of the fit and offers immediate assembly readiness.

Facilities

In ourproduction halls, you will also find numerous machines and tools that are lessobvious but just as important. Think of our AGVs that automatically transportsheet material from the stock to the laser machines. The Liftmaster ensuresthat the sheets are lifted into the machines. At the press brakes, PlateSupport and lifting aids provide support for large, heavy bent parts.

The total production floor space of all locations combined is 185,000 m². Here, 125,000 kg of plates and 6,340 meters of tubes are cut every day.
