We obtain various personal data from you. Contact and complaint handling

When you send us an e-mail message, fill in the contact form on the website, contact us by telephone, or otherwise contact us, you accept our offer to contact us (execution of the agreement). For this purpose, we process the following personal data:

It is possible to create an account on our website to start with Sophia®. (execution of the agreement). For this purpose, we process the following personal data:

  • Dutch Chamber of Commerce number

We keep this data for 2 years after you last logged in to your account or 2 years after you placed the last order. Some data we keep longer if we are legally obliged to do so (for example due to the 7-year tax retention requirement).

Place and handle order

When you place an order with us via Sophia®, we use your personal data to properly execute the agreement with you. (execution of the agreement). For this purpose, we process the following personal data:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Account information
  • IBAN
  • Billing information
  • Billing address
  • Delivery address
  • Dutch Chamber of Commerce number
  • Tax number
  • IP address
  • Other information relevant to the agreement

We keep this data for 2 years after you make the purchase or the period equal to the warranty period. Some data we keep longer if we are legally obliged to do so (for example due to the 7-year tax retention requirement).

Download the whitepaper

Through our website and social media you can download white papers (execution of the agreement). For this purpose, we process the following personal data:

  • First and last name
  • Email address

We will retain this information for as long as necessary for this contact or up to 2 years after we last contacted you, as we want to ensure that we have handled your request properly.


Packaging return form

Via our website, a form can be filled in to return packaging (pallets and pallet collars). By completing this, you allow us to contact you (execution of the agreement). For this purpose, we process the following personal data:

  • Name
  • Company address
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • IBAN
  • Other information to be entered in the form

This data shall be retained for a maximum of 2 years after the form has been completed. Some data we keep longer if we are legally obliged to do so (for example due to the 7-year tax retention requirement).

Visit to our offices

When you arrive at one of our offices by appointment, we register the following personal data (legitimate interest) to honour the appointment with you:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Appointment details

This data will be retained in the calendar for up to 2 years.

Newsletters

Via our website you can sign up for different types of newsletters from 247TailorSteel (consent). We send a newsletter twice a month by e-mail containing promotions, discounts, events, white papers, surveys and the latest products and services from 247TailorSteel. We can also send personalised messages based on your account if you wish. For this purpose, we process the following personal data:

  • Email address
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Company name

We keep your data until you unsubscribe from our newsletter. If you no longer wish to receive the newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of the newsletter.

Working at 247TailorSteel

Have you responded to any of our vacancies or submitted an open application? Then we process your personal data in order to be able to process your application, and in preparation for the possible conclusion of an employment contract (legitimate interest).

For this purpose, we process the following personal data: 

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Address information
  • Resume
  • Cover letter
  • ID photo
  • Salary indication
  • References
  • Any other information that you submit with your application or included in your resume.

We will keep your application data for up to 6 weeks after the job is filled. We will keep this information so that we can contact you in case the function becomes available again within the probation period. If we are unable to offer you a job at this time, we can – with your consent – retain the application data for another year. You can withdraw your consent at any time by sending us an email. If you start to work with us, we will keep your application data in the personnel file. This file will be kept for as long as necessary; the application data will be kept for a maximum of 2 years from the date of employment.

social media and internet research can be part of the application process. This is necessary in order to ensure that our image is maintained when new staff is hired. We do so on the basis of our legitimate interest. For this we search your name via Google, and your possible profile on various social media. This of course insofar as these profiles are public; we will not ask you to grant us access to a protected social media page or to connect with us. The results of the investigation will be discussed with you. If you have any objection, please notify us at the time you apply. 

When can we share your personal data with third parties?

247TailorSteel only shares your data with third parties when permitted by current legislation. We may disclose your personal data to third parties because:

  • we have engaged them to process certain data;
  • we have a legal basis for this;
  • we are required by law (for example, if the police require it in the event of a suspected crime).

The parties that process personal data by our or your assignment are:

  • IT suppliers and service providers
  • Hosting parties
  • Resource suppliers
  • Telecom suppliers
  • Cookie service providers
  • Administration offices
  • Payment service providers and debt collection agencies
  • Mail order companies
  • Public administrations (e.g. the Tax Office, municipalities)

This privacy statement applies only to the services of 247TailorSteel. We are not responsible for the privacy and cookie policies of other websites, which are accessible via a link on our website.

ReCAPTCHA

We use reCAPTCHA to prevent abuse of our consent form. Indicating that you are not a robot will check:

  • how quickly the form is completed
  • what mouse movements are made during the completion;
  • the IP address of the person filling in the form.

This data is analysed by Google LLC. This tells Google whether they are dealing with a legitimate visitor or a bot. A real visitor then only has to click on a check mark, which confirms that they are not a robot. The message can then be sent to the recipient via the form. Social media buttons

On our website we use social media buttons, which direct you to the relevant social media platforms. This gives you the option to follow us and share content across the network. You will also encounter advertisements on your social media page. The buttons work because of pieces of code that come from the social media networks. How is your personal data protected?

Security of personal data is very important to us. We therefore take appropriate technical and organisational measures with regard to the processing of personal data to be carried out, against loss or against any form of unlawful processing (such as unauthorised disclosure, interference, alteration or communication of the personal data). We always adjust security and pay close attention to what can go wrong.

Which privacy rights do you have?

  • Right of access: You have the right to access the personal data we process about you.  
  • Right to rectification: You have the right to correct or supplement the personal data we process about you if it is incorrect or incomplete.  
  • Right of objection: You can object to the processing of your personal data, including direct marketing.  
  • Right to delete: You can ask us to delete your personal data. 
  • Right to withdraw your consent: If you have given us permission to process personal data, you can withdraw this consent at any time. 
  • Right to data portability: If technically possible, you have the right to have the personal data we process of you transferred to a third party.  
  • Right to restriction of processing: In some cases you may ask us to restrict the processing of your personal data (whether temporary or not). 

With your request, we may ask you to identify yourself. We request information to ensure that you are the right person to whom the personal data belongs.

We will basically comply with your request within 30 days. However, this period may be extended for reasons related to the specific privacy rights or the complexity of the request. If we extend this period, we will notify you in good time.

We will address each question and complaint internally and communicate it further with you If you feel that we are not helping you properly, you have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority.
