Sophia® checks whether your part is manufacturable

Our online software Sophia® checks during the configuration process whether your part can be manufactured on our press brakes. If this is not the case, you’ll receive feedback on where the issue lies and will need to adjust the design. This allows you to address potential production issues early on. Metals we bend

At 247TailorSteel, we bend sheets and plates from the following materials:

For steel, consider cold-rolled (DC01), hot-rolled (235 to 700), and galvanized grades (Zincor, Sendzimir, and Magnelis). For stainless steel, we stock the popular 430, 304, and 316 alloys as standard. For aluminum, this includes the AlMg3 and AlMg4.5 grades, and for brass, CuZn37.

Quality and Tolerances

At 247TailorSteel, we bend sheet metal using modern LVD press brakes, such as ToolCell and EasyForm. Through extensive automation and smart process control, we achieve consistent bending quality, precise angles, and parts that fit directly into your assembly.

Depending on the material, sheet thickness, and geometry, we work with tight tolerances, starting at approximately ±0.2 mm, increasing for thicker materials or multiple and more complex setups. Combined with our modern machinery and years of expertise, you are assured of parts that meet your technical specifications and comply with high-quality standards.
