Metals we laser-cut

At 247TailorSteel, we laser cut tubes and profiles from the following materials:

We process round tubes, square and rectangular tubes, and various metal profiles. 

These are available in steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

  • Steel: grades such as E235, S235, and S355, including variants with designations such as JRH, J0H, and J2H.

  • Stainless steel: alloys such as 304 and 316, annealed or unannealed.

  • Aluminum: alloys such as EN AW-6060 T66.

Depending on the application, you can choose between welded or seamless tubes.

Technical specifications

Below are the most important minimum and maximum dimensions for tube laser cutting:

  • Minimum tube diameter: 12 mm

  • Maximum tube diameter: 254 mm

  • Minimum tube size: 12 x 12 mm

  • Maximum tube size: 200 x 200 mm

  • Minimum length: 31 mm

  • Maximum length: 5,800 mm (up to 7,800 mm upon request)

Quality and tolerances

At 247TailorSteel, we cut tubes, hollow sections, and profiles using Adige and TRUMPF tube lasers. These machines are specifically designed for extremely precise machining. The results are clean cuts, accurate positioning of holes and cutouts, and parts that are immediately ready for further processing or assembly.

The parts comply with current European standards, such as EN 10219, EN 10210, and EN 10305. These standards describe, among other things, dimensional and shape tolerances, material properties, and production methods. Combined with our modern machinery and years of expertise, you are assured of parts that meet your technical specifications and adhere to high-quality standards.

Available cutting techniques

At 247TailorSteel, we laser-cut tubes in 2.5D as standard. With this technique, most orders can be processed automatically, quickly, and within the best tolerances. 

Upon request, XY and 3D cutting techniques are available.

Prices, ordering and delivery

Whether you need a few tubes or a complete structure, you only need to submit a single order. It doesn’t matter if you want a single piece or a large series produced. Prices in the metal industry vary widely. That’s why your quote is valid for 48 hours.
