CSV import in Sophia® renewed

Do you regularly order larger quantities from your own system? Then you export your purchase orders as CSV and submit them through the CSV import in our order platform Sophia®. We have renewed this import: more flexible, and matched to how your files are built up.

You now set your own file layout once as a template. After that, Sophia® takes the data entry off your hands with every import. That saves time and prevents input errors.

What changes

  • More flexibility with your own template. Set your CSV layout once: separators, the rows Sophia® skips and how your column names map to ours. Sophia® then selects that template automatically, for every colleague in your company account.

  • Multiple files at once. Drag all your CSV files into the platform together. Sophia® processes each file separately and turns it into its own project and quote, so you submit all your orders in one action.

  • Request a quote automatically. Sophia® runs the checks and generates a quote automatically. You stay in control: the process stops at the quote, unless you tick the box to order directly.

  • Map your own names. Does your system use different names for materials, operations or cutting gases? Map them to ours once in your company preferences. After that you work with your own terms, without adjusting them for every order.

  • Ready for our new material names. We are improving a number of material names soon, so they are more pleasant to work with. Names you currently use in your CSV import may no longer match as a result. Map your own material names to ours once, so your CSV import keeps working, even when we change a name.
