How do I start a new request in Sophia®?

If you want to order parts from 247TailorSteel, you need to create a project. To do this, click on the “Start new request” button in your dashboard. A pop-up will then open where you can enter a project name and add files.

Project name

Although not mandatory, we recommend always entering a project name. If you want to find something in a project later or place a (partial) repeat order, a clear name will be very helpful. For example, name the date, part, construction, machine or customer name. Whatever works best for you.

Uploading files

You can drag files directly to the upload screen or click on the upload screen to search for the desired files on your computer. It is also possible to add files from the parts library. You can read more about this here.

DXF/DWG Import Filter

Sophia® recognises colours in drawings and converts them into cutting lines, engravings and markings, for example.

Do your colours differ from Sophia®'s? Then you can use the DXF/DWG Import Filter.

In this case, please contact our Customer Support. We will take stock of the colours you use and can convert them – using a filter – to the colours that Sophia® recognises.

Once the filter is ready, you can upload your files, select the correct filter in the dropdown menu and work with Sophia®.
