How do I use the parts library in Sophia®?

The parts library is a separate module within Sophia®. Here you can store parts and assemblies with assigned configurations. You can then reorder them later without having to reconfigure each part. This makes the parts library ideal if you regularly place repeat orders.

Groups in the parts library

Do you have many different parts? Then use groups and subgroups to create order. For example, you can create groups for each of your customers, machines, or constructions. This makes your parts library a lot clearer. And because you can add entire groups with just one click at checkout, you can also place repeat orders faster.

Placing large orders from the parts library

Are your (repeat) orders relatively large? Then you may also want to consider placing orders via a CSV file. Here's how it works:

  1. Use Excel to create a CSV file containing the desired item numbers and quantities (download an example here).
  2. In your parts library, click on ‘Add to checkout from CSV’.
  3. Upload your CSV file and continue your order process at checkout.
