How can I flip a plate in Sophia®?

In Sophia®, sheet metal and bend parts always have a blue and a gray side. The blue side represents the top of the sheet metal. The gray side represents the bottom.

It may sometimes be desirable to switch these sides. For example, if one side has a film or a sanded surface.

Would you like to flip this side? Then simply check the “flip plate” checkbox in the project configurator.

Please note: this only works with STEP files and not with DWG and DXF files.
