Can I place an order with a PDF file?

You cannot place an order using a PDF file in our online software, Sophia®. However, for a fee, we can convert your PDF file into a valid file format and prepare it for use in Sophia®. 

Note: Only businesses can place orders with us; individuals cannot.

What do you need to do?

1. Create an account for Sophia®
2. Log in to Sophia®
3. Go to Support (button in the top right corner)
4. Select ‘Sales’ and then ‘CAD Conversion Request’
5. Describe your order and upload your PDF file
6. Click ‘Submit’

One of our Customer Service representatives will then contact you and inform you of the cost of this conversion.

Once approved, we’ll get to work converting your PDF file. We’ll then set up the file as a project in your Sophia® account. Here, you can specify the desired material, thickness, and quantity, among other things.

Finally, request a quote via Sophia® to have your product(s) manufactured and place your order with a single click.

Tip: In the future, you can easily place repeat orders using this project!
