What does the standard packaging method entail?
The standard packaging method entails the following:
- MF and Euro pallets are fitted with a base plate and collars. Stackable products are wrapped in film, while small products are packed in boxes. The space around the products is filled with filling material and the pallet is covered with a cover plate.
- 1800, 2400, and 3000 pallets are fitted with a base plate and wrapped in film. Depending on your products, corrugated cardboard is used as a cover plate. Products are secured with strapping bands. The whole is covered with wrapping film or corrugated cardboard.
- Small products are packed in boxes or air envelopes. Stackable products are wrapped in film. Boxes are filled to capacity with filling material.
Other packaging options are:
Paper interlayer
To reduce the chance of scratching due to sliding during transport, choose a paper interlayer. This provides additional protection for your product.
Note: only possible for products larger than 200x200mm that are packed on pallets.
We do not accept complaints due to scratches caused by not using a paper interlayer.
No paper/cardboard protective materials
Go for sustainable and choose not to add protective materials to your order. This does involve the risk of damaging the products by shifting. To prevent product loss, products are always placed on a bottom plate.
No cover plate is used and this means products lie visible in the pallet.
