View your tube in 3D view in Sophia®. Click on the welding seam button (shown in turquoise in the image below), select the desired side(s) for the welding seam and press confirm”.
NB: Do not draw a weld seam in your drawing yourself, as this will affect the wall thickness and may cause error messages.
For square tubes, you only need to specify one side. However, for rectangular tubes, there are two possibilities for the weld seam to be located, namely on a short or long side. It is therefore important that you specify both a short and a long side for rectangular tubes. Both sides are required.
