How can I have a part name engraved in Sophia®?

With Sophia®, you can automatically have an engraving applied to any component. This saves you a lot of time.

All you have to do is check the “engrave component name” checkbox in the project configurator. Sophia® will then find a convenient spot on your component and apply an engraving there. The engraving always consists of the product name. You cannot determine the location of the engraving yourself.

Of course, you can also add engravings and markings to the part yourself in your drawing program.
