Can the mill scale be removed?

Yes. Mill scale can be removed. However, 247TailorSteel does not perform this service. Please note: this is specialized work that must be done with the right equipment and safety measures. These are commonly used methods for removing mill scale :

• Blasting (such as grit or sand blasting)
• Pickling (acid treatment with sulfuric or hydrochloric acid)
• Grinding or sanding (with belt machines)
